New Legal Clinics Now Available

In collaboration with Florida Rural Legal Services, the Rupert J Smith Law library in Fort Pierce is happy to announce that we are assisting with an upcoming Law Library Clinic. We are fulfilling our mission by connecting individuals with resources and attorneys to navigate the legal system by providing equal access to the law.
Individuals will have the opportunity to speak with an attorney to discuss their legal issues moving forward. The first clinic will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 beginning at 10:00 ending 12:30. Law Library appointments are limited to registered applicants only; unless an attorney authorizes otherwise. Sessions will be for 30 minutes with a half hour break in between.
Those interested may contact the Law Library @772 462-2370 to schedule an appointment. Please inquire with Carmela.
The library is also excited to announce that local attorney Isai Bonilla will be offering legal clinics in criminal and immigration matters for members of our community.
The first clinic will be on Wednesday, May 28 from 10:00 to 11:00. The second clinic will be held on Wednesday, June 4 from 10:00 to 11:00. Two appointments are available for thirty minutes each. Walk- ins are also accepted. He will add on additional clinics moving forward.
Many thanks, Isai, for volunteering your time!
